Barry Mcgee / Larceny
- I picked this up at the opening of Barry Mcgee's "Advanced Mature Work" Installation at REDCAT. They we're giving them away for free, but If your looking to score one you'll have to throw down a few bucks on ebay. The Zine is full color front to back, with a screen printed cover. Inside is an short interview discussing the installation and his newer body of work, candid photos, graffiti flicks, and close ups of pieces from the exhibition. A recommended score if you can grab one for under $30, otherwise spend an extra $10 and grab one of his published books.

Casual Encounters
- I just got this in the mail last week from Give up. It's a zine he put together for a recent group exhibition he curated in Houston. The show is actually still up until June 6th so if you happen to be in the area stop by and check it out a Domy Books. The exhibition includes work by Dirty Jeff, Derek Albeck, French, Give Up, Patrick Griffin and Will Boone. And since I won't be making it out to Houston for the exhibit, I can surely satisfy my curiosities with this photocopied gem. I highly recommend picking one of these up, along with any other of Give Up's photocopied creations for that matter.

PUSH MSK AWR / Untitled Handmade book
- Last but not least a fantastic little handmade book by one of my all time favorite graffiti writers PUSHER. Each one of these monsters is hand made by PUSH, complete with a unique cover of layered pen and paint tags. Inside you get a taste of late night sketch book pieces, photos, and a look into the process of his incredible ceramic sculptures. I find PUSHERS style to be truly one of a kind, not only looking as if it's inspired by graffiti, but 1930's German graphic design, Abstract expressionism, and minimalism. I'm not sure if that's at all where he pulls from, but it's easy to see he's open to evolving his style, and acquiring inspiration from many different areas and periods of visual culture. A required purchase for graffiti and design enthusiasts alike. You can pick it up in The Seventh Letter estore for $30.
